Chris Phelps started his firefighting career as a member of Midway Fire District's inaugural Fire Academy Class 001 and has proudly served the district for over 18 years.  He currently holds the rank of Company Officer and is a qualified Step-Up Battalion Chief.  Chris holds an M.S. in Emergency Management, is a certified Hazmat Specialist, Paramedic, Fire Instructor III, and holds key ICS qualifications, including Planning Section Chief & Operations Section Chief.  A faith-based member of the Midway Fire District community, he resides locally with his wife.
